Marine Pneumatic Rubber Fender
Pneumatic fender is the advanced anti-collision device for marine applications in the world today. It uses compressed air as medium to absorb the impact energy when ship-to-ship contact and ship-to berthing. Comparing with traditional bumper style rubber fender, it has the following advantages:
- More energy absorption
- Less reverse impact on ships
- Less weight
- Easy installation
- Softer and economical
So Pneumatci rubber fenders are widely used by large tankers, LPG vessels, ocean platforms, large docks, harbors and wharfs.
There are two specifications of Pneumatic Rubber Fenders:
1. Net Type Pneumatic Fenders
- General: The Net Type Pneumatic Fender is a kind of fenders with high strength, high wear resistance which is made according to ISO 17357 Regulations.
- Size: D1.0M x L1.5 ~ D3.3m x L6.5m
- Characteristic: Floating pneumatic rubber fenders shall consist of an out rubber, reinforcement synthetic-tyre-cord layer, and inner rubber, vulcanized firmly.
2. Sling Type Pneumatic Fender
- General: The Sling Type Pneumatic Fender is a kind of fenders without chain & tire net made according to ISO 17357 International Standard.
- Size: D0.5 x 1.0L ~ D3.3 x 6.5L
- Characteritics: Light weight, Color variety, No scratch to the ship and widely used for military ship, small vessels etc.
