Good quality of Marine Lifejackets

Lifejacket is also called life vest, which is one of the marine lifesaving equipments. It made of Nylon or Neoprene material with floating or inflatable and reflecting stuff. The application period would be 5-7 years. It can make the survival to break the surface of water due to its enough buoyance.

According to the application, the lifejacket can be divided into following categories:

a. Marine lifejacket, marine child lifejacket. It is suitable for lifesaving for the passengers of vessels in international voyage, coastal and inland rivers. The buoyance of lifejacket should be more than 113N and the loss of which should be less than 5% after immersing into the water for 24 hours. The material is EPE foamed polyethylene.

b. Marine work lifejacket. It is suitable for people working on the ships in coastal or inland rivers. The buoyance should be more than 75N and the loss of which should be less than 5% after immersing into the water for 24 hours. The material is EPE foamed polyethylene.

The lifejacket can also be divided into the following categories according to its buoyance effect:

1, Lifejacket with foamed floating material, which is made of Nylon or Neoprene with EPE foamed polyethylene material inside.

2, Inflatable lifejacket, which is made of high strength waterproof material with the same principle like inflatable life buoy. Attention: must avoid sharp objects to expose or to wear the waterproof layer of lifejacket which will cause the serious consequences.
