- Introduction
When the ship is berthed, due to the action of tidal current and wind waves, the main power shaft rotates due to the impact of water on the propeller blade, which leads to the stress on the gear box and main engine and damage the parts.
The main shaft brake device can effectively lock the shafting and prevent rotation when the ship is berthed. And the limit switch of the brake device can also be connected with the control table, which can effectively avoid the occurance of accidents when the main engine starts with a lock.
